Hey guys.
Just relaxin' in a really radical place called All Saint's Cafe waiting for the show to start.
It's super mellow, and (I hate myself for using this as an adjective...) chill.
Super laid back and I'm fixing to drink so much hot tea with honey.
THEY HAVE A HONEY CONTAINER WITH A PUMP.
IT'S INCREDIBLE. I LOVE HONEY.
The show last night was incredible performance-wise.
Crowd was pretty minimal, but whatever. They sounded awesome.
I sold the new gator shirts for the first time, and got a five buck tip!
hah. I rule. Hyrule.
Some of the other bands were super nice, and a few others seemed kinda...sketchy.
We left Jax right after the show for Tally, and it took like three hours.
We stopped at a gas station called Loves to fill up Nidia and grab something to eat.
It was like quarter until two, and there was a twenty-four hour Arby's inside.
Mac and Cheezers are a fast food vegetarian dream.
It was freezing in the van and outside when we stopped.
Apparently like right before we got there, a trucker got held up at gun point and his truck stolen?
Awesome.
Then we drove through the night to Sean's friend Kennon's place.
Finally got settled down at life five am.
We had to leave the trailer and van in an Albertson's parking lot because they'd tow it if we parked in the condo complex.
The guys we're staying with are super awesome, and we woke up this morning to watch Starship Troopers.
That was at like eleven, and we got all seven of us showered and dressed well before one.
Ate at Waffle House, and ventured around town to a comic book shop, where they were playing a game called Hordes that I'd love to learn in detail and I desperately wanted to buy Zombie Fluxx, so if anyone wants to get that for me, I'd be pretty down to receive.
Thennn they went to a tobacco shop, but I stayed in Nidia and played my DS.
I haven't played Pokemon in so long. I've forgotten where I was.
I'm half tempted just to start a new game.
We drove around Tally trying to find this place without the trailer so we didn't kill gas or the trailer with all the hills.
Erik, Travis, Sean and I went back to the apartment (where we're staying tonight as well) to get some stuff, and then to the parking lot to pick up trailer.
Matthew, Tiffani, and Joshua met us there and rode back in Nidia.
The band's out back doing vocal warm up, and Matthew, Tiffani, and Joshua went to go find dinner.
I should probably eat something.
Apparently, we're partying tonight after the show.
I'm down for that White Grape hookah. Smelled absolutely delicious.
Anyways, Andre-The-Intern called again last night and woke us up, but we were all far too tired to form coherent conversation and ask the questions we wanted, so he called back earlier.
Talked to him about touring with Red Car Wire, Universal Management, Press kits, and Warped Tour.
Super stoked on life about that.
Okay, I'm gonna go scarf some food before the show starts and before Noah gets here!
See you in the stars,

put your hands in the air, and don't make a sound.
HEY!
The horizontal pictures are cut off because I'm awful with BlogSpot still.
Get over it, and open them in a new window.
I love you!
See you in the stars.

preparing for other professions if the band thing doesn't work out.

X, you're creepy.

acoustic set in the backseat?
I video taped this, too, so be on the lookout for that.

you aren't as cool as you think you are, Erik.

Nidia looking down disapprovingly on us all.

Tyler is stoked about tour, clearly.

This isn't as sexual as you think it is.
That's a lie.
It is.

Erik's face in this picture kills me every time.

so lady-like.

Jacksonville Landing.

Veeennuuueeee for the night.

Jacksonville Landing.
Super strange mall.

lovers, really.

What up, food?

an outrageously blurry Brother.

lunch time.

I love these boys.

oh, Ben.

Maybe checking out the competition?

I am dating an undeniable bad ass.

I be scared, too, B.

YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW BADLY I WANTED ALL OF THEIR ROBOTS.

frustratingly looking for the right pack of fuses for the van...

...while Erik messes with the radio display.

hanging out inside of JackRabbits. Clearly before I discovered the wifi.

a tank of gas is a treasure to me, I know now that nothing is free
Hey guys! It's mini-tour day!
We're leaving at noon for the road, and all of us are super stoked.
Be prepared for an ass ton of pictures when we get back =D
AHHHH! I can't wait to see Daly's TWICE!
Anyways, here are the flyers for the weekend:

Also, I had to get a new cash box.
It's sooo sad. The key that locked it last week wouldn't this morning.
We seriously spent like half an hour.
stupid.
Which means I get to decorate it again!
Anyways, I've got to pack up some more stuff, like Max, my trusty MacBook, my camera once the battery finishes charging, and Next by Michael Crichton on CD. Badass.
And my DS.
WHICH I DIDN'T CHARGE. dammit.
Then take a shower. So I'm out!
See you in the stars,

one swing ahead of the sword.
Thanks to anyone and everyone who helped The Starlight Getaway reach over 4,000 plays yesterday!
For the love of god, I am begging you to keep it up for the rest of the week.
The A&R guy from Universal is watching it, and we want to impress him.
On an equally as exciting note, TSG is number 7 on the charts overall, and third for unsigned bands. See?

I need to study for my psych midterm, so I'm out.
see you in the stars, Danni

If you wanna be my lover, you have got to give
Check the new video! Get to know the guys a little bit. =D
It is now officially the week of October 13th, so take your little self on over to purevolume.com and check the homepage feature for TSG! Maybe give the songs a listen or seven.
That's pretty much it, kiddos!
Catch you in the stars,
Danni

maybe, baby, you can rise above the rest and meet me here.
I need to get packing tape for it, and for the weekend.
Kirstin (Ty's 10-year-old sister) comes in to the house singing a Starlight song. Then comes up to his room and tells us her favorite song is number 4, PhraseKeyMelody.
Anyways....
Tyler's working on the sweet video.
I can't wait to post it.
Target is having a mega-sale. The striped tank I'm wearing cost me a dollar, and the vest was 4. They're both soft as hell. I found 70 dollars in tips in one of my jean pockets. I might have to go back l8r =]

I recorded Tyler's interview earlier.
This camera is so bad ass.
I don't want to have to give it back to the college.
So BlogSpot reigns supreme to LJ in the including pictures aspect.
That's about it.
LiveJournal pretty much trumps all other blog sites.
7 days until tooouuurrr.
I have a psych midterm on Tuesday.
lamelamelame.
And I need to record my radio show for Broadcasting.
Kirstin is watching Hairspray downstairs. I love that movie. Right now it's on "Welcome to the 60's".
I got Next by Michael Crichton to listen to on CD.
12 hours of terrific.
I'm so sleepy and this bed is so comfortable.
must...not...nap before bedtime.
see you in the stars,
Danni

shimmy shimmy cocoa, whaa
I don't think anyone is actually going to see this.
But I want to share Starlight Getaway stuff with anyone and everyone.
I was putting pictures and what have you in my personal LiveJournal.
It was just that, though. my personal journal.
Anyways...Just a few things going on in the world of TSG:
Sunday the 12th they're playing a free!! show behind Papa Johns in Merritt Island for 50 bucks and free pizza.
Monday the 13th the ad goes up on the purevolume homepage.
Make sure you check that out. It'll be there all week.
Also Monday, we're supposed to call an A&R intern guy from Universal.
Stoked on lyf about that.
Friday we're heading out on mini-tour.
-Jack Rabbit's in Jax that night. [Since Always]
-All Saint's Cafe in Tally Saturday [Ambush & Bleh Always]
-The Capitol in Ocala Sunday [DALY'S GONE WRONG!!]
-BackBooth in Orlando Monday. [Daly's & Kung Fu Girls]
Also in the process of getting winter tour set up. We have a few dates so far.
The guy Travis found to book it completely dicked out.
Now he's not telling us anything, like where he booked shows and what dates.
Ughhhh when are we going to have someone to do this for us??
I'm outrageously tired.
In the morning, I'm going to the library to burn audio books to Max, my trusted Apple companion, because I'm a cheap scoundrel.
I've been listening to a lot of Country Grammar by Nelly for no real reason.
I want to be a Jedi so bad.
See you in the stars,
-Danni
